Our Story — Zain Foods

From Shikarpur, with a hundred years of flavour.

If you ask anyone in Pakistan where the best achar comes from, you'll hear one name: Shikarpur. Our city has been perfecting the art of pickling for generations — and Zain Foods was born right here, on Circular Road, from recipes passed down through our family.

How we make it

We buy seasonal fruit and vegetables at their peak — hard sour mangoes in June, winter carrots in December. Everything is washed, hand-cut and salt-rested the old way. Then each batch is cured in your choice of pure olive oil (our modern, lighter line), traditional mustard oil (the classic Shikarpuri sharpness), or no oil at all. No artificial colours. No synthetic preservatives. No shortcuts.

What we believe

Achar isn't a condiment in our culture — it's memory. It's the jar your mother packed when you moved cities. We make every jar like it's going to someone's mother.
